Isn’t she so darn cute?!
We are so happy to introduce you to our beautiful bride, Tori!
For her summer wedding, Tori visited our sister store, The One by Something Blue Bridal, and chose a fitted satin gown with the coolest skirt by Allure Bridals!
After she said yes to the dress at The One, she came to Something Blue for her beautiful cathedral veil by Bel Aire Bridals!

Before the craziness of the day began, Tori and her very soon-to-be hubby, Brian, shared a first look {and their vows!} together!

Tori and Brian were married in an outdoor ceremony at The Design Barn in Hebron!
The weather was perfect…and so was the bride!

After the happy couple said “I do”, it was time to head inside to celebrate!
Tori’s fave moment from her wedding day came during the reception:
“My favorite part was our first dance! We didn’t practice and it still felt so natural and was a great time!”

How did the newlyweds meet?
“I was having a girls night out at one of the local bars when Brian came over to our table. He went to school with the friends I was and his excuse was to talk to them to catch up- but really he wanted to meet me. By the end of the night we exchanged numbers and the rest is history.”
How did Brian pop the question?
“He proposed at the Dunes Chesterton Beach. He knows I love going to the beach. We had a picnic on the beach away from a bunch of people, it was perfect!”
Was it a surprise or did Tori know it was coming?
“I had my suspicions especially when I came home from work and he was in a polo and khakis. It was the best day ever!”
How was her experience when it came to dress shopping?
“It was perfect! The One was the first and only store I went to. I saw a dress that they posted on their Pinterest and I knew I had to try it!”
How did she know her dress was "the one"?
“My face immediately lit up! I felt like a bride and felt beautiful in my dress.”
What was Tori’s favorite part of the planning process?
“Picking out the venue. I enjoyed looking at different places with my husband and us deciding which place was going to be the best for us!’
What about her least favorite part??
“The guest list. We wanted to invite everyone we knew! It was hard trying to decide who could or could not be invited.”
What is the best piece of advice Tori can give brides-to-be who are currently planning their big day?
“If something goes wrong on the day of just remember you’re the only one that’s going to know! Your guests aren’t going to know what didn’t go according to your plan. Enjoy your day! It goes by so quick!”
